This excursion takes you into the Atlas Mountains to see a vast array of vegetation, coloured rock cliffs, mountain streams, Berber villages and local mountain people.
The Ourika Valley is an attractive string of villages along the river carrying the same name. The landscape is fresh and green, and in summer a popular destination when Marrakech is boiling.
Stop, and look over the mountains you might be lucky and spot the Jebel Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa.
The Ourika Valley starts about 30 km south of Marrakech, and the tarmac road will slowly bring you 37 km into the valley until you reach Setti Fatma, famous for its seven waterfalls
The Ourika River pierces the foothills of the Atlas making the valley green with orchards and terraced crops. This beautiful valley is also punctuated by a string of small douar homes. Ourika's atmosphere and unique decor is sure to impress!

The road of Marrakesh towards Oukaïmeden is a succession of unforgettable landscapes. You will join the pass of Tiz n Addi (2900m where the lunch will be served and will continue this day by a ride (approximately 2:30 am) to join the village Ouskra. Dinner and at night in bivouac. Gone hiking in the valley of Imman to join the valley of Imlil (1800m). Have lunch to Imlil and return towards Marrakesh.

1st DAY: Marrakech-Oukaïmeden-Ouskra.
2nd DAY: Ouskra-Imlil-Marrakech.
